Thank You

I promise we will be back to regularly scheduled programming (read: no more shameless self-promoting) very very soon — but as publication week of How to Celebrate Everything wraps up, I just wanted to thank you all for rising to the occasion. I know it was not the most celebratory of weeks in the wider world, and who knows what next week will bring, but the notes I have been getting from all you thoughtful readers out there have been amazing and affirming and once again remind me how lucky I feel to be part of a community like this one. I’m going to sign off with some of my favorite HTCE sightings in the wild — remember: tag me for reposts –and hope you have a great weekend filled with family walks (page 98) and Brown Butter Apple Pies (page 193) and Sunday Dinners (page 236).

My friend Elizabeth (of Never Fail Banana Bread fame) chimed in with this beautiful still life.

I love that Julia Turshen chimed in with the Latke Fixins photo, a full three months before Hanukkah. (I could eat them every night. Maybe I will and I’ll just call them hash browns.)

This Facebook post from Lupe Velez (and his dog, Sherman) made me think I was targeting the wrong market!?

This blew me away. (And by the way, you don’t have to be a world famous US Women’s National Team member to review the book on Amazon.)

Shauna Niequist!

I couldn’t have been more delighted to be part of Sara Forte’s birthday fete for her husband, Hugh. (And how great is that bluegrass song lyric?) They write the blog Sprouted Kitchen, which, as you know, is an all-time favorite of mine.

In excellent company on Sarah Hart’s beautiful bookshelf.

Tag me on instagram and Facebook so I can be part of the celebration. Or just hashtag #howtocelebrateeverything and eventually I’ll find you.
