Hello, everyone! I hope you’re having a lovely Wednesday. Just wanted to provide a few updates.

First, JL8 is going to be on a very brief hiatus while I rebuild my buffer. Some of you may recall that I took a freelance gig this past spring, and while fun, it was significantly more complicated than I anticipated, and didn’t allow for time to work on JL8 in tandem with the project, so I’m pretty much back to 0 in terms of completed strips on hand. I’m planning to step back for about a month while I try to get 8-10 strips done, and will resume posting once I hit that mark. In the meantime, I’ll be posting updates and keeping you all apprised of my progress.

Secondly, thank you to everyone who came out to see me at HeroesCon. It’s always such a fun time, and very energizing to meet so many fans who are so enthusiastic about the comic. It really means the world.

Finally, I’m going to be launching a sale this Friday. I’m hoping that if I can generate some funds that way, I won’t need to take on freelance gigs and can be more fully dedicated to producing JL8. I’ll be posting more about the sale separately, so keep an eye out for that.
