Pinch me, because today and tomorrow I am working on a story with one of my very favourite magazines, in the comforts of my own backyard.
The kids and I are preserving summer produce with a few friends and a crew is here to style and photograph it all as we work (play, really). I’m hoping I’ll be able to post a few behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram. Speaking of, are you following me there? One of the last leisurely lunches before the boys returned to school. Clara ask about them at least ten times a day. She misses them so much.
We’re spending more mornings at the market watching the seasons merge in an array of colours.
Currently obsessed with: spinach crepes, whipped berry butter, and fresh berries tossed with honey butter. Speak up in the comments if you want the recipe for these.
Also loving this cookbook from fellow Canadian blogger, Charmian. Tantalizing recipes, beautiful photos and entertaining writing.
Harvest has been good this week. Tomatoes rule.
